YS Jagan At Events During YSR District Tour

The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan stated that
YSRCP would stand proactive in fighting in support of ACC-victim farmers.
Farmers from Vaddirala, Gollapalle, Uppalapadu and other villages of Mylavaram
mandal in YSR district met YS Jagan at Muddanuru, led by YSRCP leader
Ramanjaneyulu Yadav. They explained to him how ACC management had bought 2700
acres of their crop lands in 1996, saying that a cement factory would be built,
but that not even a foundation stone had been laid for the factory until now.
YS Jagan listened to their agony and assured them of his support.

Informing that Bharati cement had paid Rs.2 lakh of compensation
in the past, he suggested that ACC would have to pay them at least Rs.4 lakh
compensation after adjustment of inflation. He stated that YSRCP MP YS Avinash
Reddy and Jammalamadugu constituency’s in-charge Sudheer Reddy would attend the
dharna to be conducted by farmers on the 20th of this month at
Gollapalle, on behalf of YSRCP.

From the crossroads, YS Jagan, YS Avinash Reddy and Sudheer Reddy
held a rally in open-top vehicle, greeting people. He paid a devotional visit
to Goddess Durga on the occasion of Dusserah festival, upon invitation from
Arya Vaisya community. Then he inaugurated the new party office close to
Ammavarisala. Participating in this event were former minister YS Vivekananda
Reddy and district president Akepati Amarnath Reddy.

Leaders from Jammalamadugu arrive in support

In light of party defection by MLA Adi Narayana Reddy and MLC
Narayana Reddy and joining in TDP, leaders from the constituency arrived to
meet YS Jagan and assure their continued support to him. A huge number of
followers and leaders from six mandals of the constituency expressed their
dedication to YSRCP and devotion to Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy. They proclaimed
that they would teach a lesson to the selfish defectors.

Attendance in Proddutur celebrations

YS Jagan attended the Dusserah
celebrations held by Arya Vaisya community at Proddutur. These celebrations are
famous for their pomp and fair, next to those held at Mysore. Amidst huge
participation from people, MLA Rachamallu Prasad Reddy and MP YS Avinash Reddy
also took part in the event and were felicitated. Participating in this event
were the president of the city’s Arya Vaisya Sabha, Busetty Rammohan Rao, AP
Arya Vaisya Sabha’s vice-president Chippagiri Prasad and others.
