YS Jagan condemns attack on dalits

Nallamada: Describing the attack on dalit woman  as a heinous act, YSR Congress President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has said that Chandrababu Naidu should hang his head in shame for such an incident taking place with the active involvement of TDP cadre.

Strongly condemning the act of disrobing a dalit woman at Pendurthi in Visakhapatnam district by ruling TDP activists, the Leader of Opposition said,  the TDP leaders in that district have no humanity and have resorted to the barbarous act of attacking dalits and disrobing a woman to encroach her land in the name of NTR Gruhakalpa.

It is a scar on the civil society as the TDP leaders have behaved in an atrocious manner when the dalit woman had questioned them as to why her land was being occupied. The TDP leadership has been shielding such culprits as no action was taken and the leadership has been showing its indifference.

Though a complaint was registered by the dalit women against the culprits there was no action as they happen to be close relatives to local TDP leader Bandaru Satyanarayana Murthy.

Chandrababu Naidu government will have to pay the price for all such misdeeds in the days to come, he said while addressing a meeting as part of the Praja Sankalpa Yatra here on Wednesday.

Chandrababu Naidu has been fooling people with his false promises and with his quixotic deeds like using rain guns to fight drought.

We will include medicare, fees reimbursement and pensions besides other welfare activities in the Navaratnas and will ensure that all sections of the society will benefit and the golden era of YSR will be back in the coming days
