Visakhapatnam: In the context of the resounding reception to YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in his historic walkathon Praja Sankalpa Yatra in the district, the party leaders met for a meeting to discuss the party's action plan. YS Jagan convened the key meeting with constituency in-charges, MLAs, MPs, former MPs and former ministers here today. Amid speculation over the advancement of elections within four months, YS Jagan called on the party leadership to get ready for elections by January. He directed for conducting constituency level and booth level programs, even as the Praja Sankalpa Yatra continues.
YS Jagan said that all the constituency in-charges should visit every home in two booths per day across their respective constituencies from September 17. For five days a week, the party workers should mingle with the families in the booths and discuss the local issues, he added. YS Jagan asked the party workers to focus on the revised electoral rolls.
The YSRCP Chief asked the party leadership organize Mandal level booth managers and the committees. "Within a month's time, the target of visiting 50 booths has to be reached as part of the first schedule. All issues in the constituencies have to sorted out immediately. The leaders should organize booth level committees in such a way that each member of the committee takes the responsibility of 30 to 35 families.
Dr YSR's Navaratnas
YS Jagan expressed happiness over winning the confidence of the public with the 'Navaratnas,' an idea which emanated from late Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's visionary thoughts. He reminded that every party worker had the responsibility of taking the Navaratnas to every single home in the State.
"We should explain to every family the benefits of the Navaratnas in addition to exposing TDP Chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu's lies. Everyone should become familiar with the Navaratnas," he addressed the leaders before releasing a poster that explains the benefits of the Navaratnas. He added that the poster could be downloaded from the party website.
