YSR Kadapa: YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday assured the youth and the unemployed that he would recruit 1.42 lakh vacancies as soon as the YSRCP storms to power. At a Rachabanda programme organised at the Srinivasa Kalyana Mantapam in YSR district's Vempalli, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told a large gathering of youth, women and senior citizens that not one of the promises made in the TDP's hefty manifesto was implemented. He said the YSRCP manifesto would be small, no more than two pages and every promise made would be implemented.
He said the YSRCP would hold similar Racha Bandas and interact with various sections of the society to prepare a people's manifesto. He said free power would be given to all SC and ST colonies. He said when he comes to power, he would ensure that every eligible person would have a roof to live under. "The pension amount would be hiked to Rs 2000. If Chandrababu hikes it to Rs 2000, we will raise it to Rs 3000," he said.
Alluding the current TDP rule to Kaurava reign, he expressed the confidence that the YSRCP would come to power in 2019.
YS Jagan further said that the YSRCP would implement the fee reimbursement fully. Over and above this, every student would be given Rs 20000 for college expenses. He said once the YSRCP comes to power, the works on Kadapa Steel Factory would be launched within six months and the factory would be completed within three years. This would provide employment to 10000 persons.
