YS Jagan Announces Rs 10, 000 For Auto Drivers

YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced special  financial assistance scheme for  all auto drivers toiling thier lives with meagre earning in Andhra Pradesh.  He  will provide Rs 10,000 financial assistance to each auto driver once his party comes to power in 2019. 

Addressing at the public meeting at Eluru,  he said auto drivers brought to his notice the problems being faced due to lack of valid documents insisted by Transport and police officials during checks. It required at least Rs 10,000 to get all the mandated documents mainly vehicle fitness, road tax and insurance. 

The auto drivers were forced to pay fine every time they were encountered by officials, YS Jagan said he will rescue auto drivers from regular harassment by the officials by making available all the documents to them permanently.  

The YSR Congress Party chief said that he will also provide life insurance to auto drivers. The public meeting was organised as part of YS Jagan's Padayatra entered 161 day on Monday.
