Vijayawada: YSRCP's official spokesman Jogi Ramesh questioned the silence of Andhra Pradesh Government while Telangana Government was constructing a number of lift irrigation schemes on River Krishna. He spoke to the media at the party's office in Vijayawada. He mentioned that Telangana was taking 150 TMC of water from River Krishna through Palamuru-Rangareddy and Dindi lift irrigation schemes. He slammed CM. Chandrababu Naidu for his inability in preventing Krishna Delta from becoming a desert at the cost of Telangana projects. He stated that KCR had scared Chandrababu away after the latter had been caught in 'note for vote' case and that was why Chandrababu was not proactively trying to save Krishna for the people of AP. Jogi Ramesh also criticised the incompetency of the state's irrigation minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao. He complained that Devineni held press meets and bluffed people but gave least importance to stop Telangana's unlawful projects. Jogi Ramesh condemned these projects on behalf of YSRCP. He angrily compared Chandrababu with ox. Jogi Ramesh questioned why the Government had not reported to the centre and the Krishna board against Telangana's projects.
