We will submit resignations in speaker format

YSR Congress Party senior leader and MP Mekapati Raja Mohan Reddy said that the party MPs will quit their posts on April 6 on the last day of the budget session of Parliament and sit on Indefinite Hunger Strike at AP Bhavan in New Delhi for special status to Andhra.

Addressing the press in Nellore,  the YSR Congress leader said that on instructions of party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy,  all the MPs will relinquish their posts and intensify the struggle for special status.

The resignation letters will be submitted in a speaker format to the Lok Sabha Speaker.  He took  strong exception to some section of the media's propaganda that the special status movement was spearheaded by a single leader only. People were aware of the commitment shown by the Andhra leaders on special status issue.

Another MP Midhun Reddy said he along with other YSR Congress leaders visited Tirumala and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateswara in the fight for special status to Andhra.  The resignation letters will be submitted to Speaker on the last day of the session if the Lok Sabha did not take up debate on the issue.
