We will continue to work for people: Srikanth Reddy

May 17, 2014: Reiterating that it will play the role of responsible opposition,
YSR Congress party said today it will continue to fight on behalf of people. 

Speaking
to reporters, Party spokesman and MLA G.Srikanth Reddy said YSRCP will stand by
people in all matters. “As our party chief Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has already
said, we will work as a strong opposition and ensure that justice is rendered
to people in all matters including welfare schemes and reconstruction of
Seemandhra state,” he said.  

Srikanth
Reddy rejected the suggestion that YSRCP was defeated in the elections. “We
were never in power to be defeated. We have grown from one MP and one MLA to 70
MLAs and 9 MPs in the two states. We will continue to grow,” he said, adding
that YSRCP will continue to stand by its cadres. He asked the party activists
not to get disheartened.
