We will be voice of the people in Assembly

Hyderabad,
Dec 17: YSR Congress has said that it will voice the concerns of the people on
the various issues that the TDP Government has failed to address and will press
for a categorical reply on all the counts.
“The
legislature party which met under the chairmanship of Party President, YS Jagan
Mohan Reddy has decided to take up the public issues and press for a
categorical reply as the State has failed on all fronts” Party MLAs G Srikanth
Reddy and others told reporters here on Wednesday after the meeting.
The loan
waiver of farmers and DWACRA women, farmers’ suicides, regularization of
contract workers, law and order and weavers’ issues will be among those which
we will be raising in the winter session beginning on Thursday.
“We will
be the voice of the people and will press for a firm reply on the all the
issues and will scuttle any move from the State to escape by giving mere
statements to preempt discussion on core issues,” he said.
Farmers’
suicides and worsening law and order situation with misuse of official
machinery by foisting false cases against political adversaries besides the
capital issue and loan waiver will be taken up during the session, he said.
The six
month period of the State Government is a total flop as not a single promise
was implemented and though TDP is part of the NDA coalition, the State did not
benefit in any way. Though the diesel prices dropped six times, it did not
reflect in the prices of essential commodities which need to be questioned, he
said.
