The YSR Congress Party has intensified its agitation over Special Category Status To Andhra Pradesh. All the five MPs resigned from Parliament and sit on an indefinite hunger strike at Andhra Bhawan. 

YSR Congress Party chief and AP Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who pioneered the SCS movement has been reiterating the benefits it could bring to the state. In a step towards achieving the goal, party workers, volunteers and youth will hold statewide protests for SCS. The party chief has also charted out a course of action to bring pressure on the Centre to grant special category status to Andhra Pradesh.
"We do as we say! YSRCP MPs are submitting their resignations today. I challenge @ncbn to make TDP MPs resign and stand united with the people of AP in their rightful demand of special category status for Andhra Pradesh," YS Jagan tweeted.
