We Are Against The Pharma Factory

  • Pharma factory to be set up in Dindi area against people's will
  • Aqua sector threatened by the factory
  • One-sided decisions will be questioned
  • YSRCP's senior leader Mopidevi Venkata Ramana
Guntur: YSRCP's senior leader and former minister, Mopidevi Venkata Ramana, expressed resistance to the establishment of pharma factory in Dindi area against people's will. Demanding the withdrawal of the Government's decision, he suggested that the lives of aquaculture farmers and fishermen should not be put at risk and warned the Government against such attempts.
Speaking to the media at the party's office in Guntur, he slammed the TDP Government's anti-people decisions in the name of development. Reminding how he had resisted earlier the attempts made by Congress Government to establish pharma factory in Repalle constituency, he welcomed aqua industries advent in the area.
He demanded that the Government should inform the people of the areas before starting any industries, he said that YSRCP would not tolerate it if decisions were taken in one-sided manner.

YSRCP will be supportive: Marri Rajasekhar
Mopidevi Venkata Ramana is fighting for the people. We will support him on behalf of the party. The pharma industry will pollute groundwater and affect aquaculture industry and farmers living on it. The Government should establish industries in desert areas, instead of residential areas.

Anti-people ways should be Withdrawn: Lella Appireddy
Innocent people in Dindi area are suffering due to the anti-people decisions taken by TDP. They are dependent on aquaculture. YSRCP shall fight against the conspiracies being plotted by the Government to build the pharma factory affecting people's health.
