Vijayawada: YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu lambasted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu and said that the AP CM was staging a new drama in Delhi. Speaking to media here at YSRCP office, he said TDP was boasting that it had moved a no-confidence motion against NDA government in the Centre at Lok Sabha. But the fact was that it was the YSRCP which had first tabled the no-confidence. He reminded Chandrababu that he had mocked their party's move at that time.
The YSRCP spokesperson said TDP's no-confidence move was admitted by Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan on the very first day of the Parliament monsoon session. He said everyone understood the conspiracy behind this move. This was in fact, a new twist in the history of Parliament sessions. He asked why the Speaker did not admit the no-confidence motion moved by YSRCP and conduct a head count.
Ambati demanded that people should know what transpired between BJP National president Amit Shah and TDP Chief. Was it not a secret pact between the two parties? It was evident that they had struck a deal from today's proceedings of Lok Sabha. He demanded that the NDA government explain the developments that were taking place in Parliament.
The YSRCP leader further said that both, BJP and TDP were involved cheap politics which was shameful. BJP and Chandrababu have joined hands, he said. TDP was indulging in dirty political games by spreading false information about YSRCP MPs' resignations. He pointed out the double standards of the TDP government and said they took the decision to close the Tirumala temple for a few days and were now reviewing the decision after severe criticism and intense pressure from the public and media.
