Vote out KCR: YS Jagan

KCR should ask himself as to why he was unable to replicate the welfare and developmental schemes that late YSR had so successfully implemented, said YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting in Station Ghanpur on the last day of the campaign for the Warangal bypoll, YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy asked the people to oppose TRS and vote for the YSRCP candidate.

These elections were wholly unnecessary. They have nothing to do with the needs and aspirations of Telangana people. The elections have come only because KCR wanted them, he said. He said the spate of cotton farmer suicide was due to the lack of crop loan waiver and added that YSR's welfare schemes were forgotten and the farmers are mired in debts.

He wanted the people to question chief minister KCR over price rise, farmer suicide, lack of crop loan waiver and other issues. While YSR had constructed 48 lakh houses in the undivided state in the five years of his rule, but KCR had constructed only 393 houses. He said the prices have risen, while the government was doing nothing to rein them in.
