Vijayawada cheers as Sharmila crosses Krishna

Vijayawada, March 26, 2013: Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who completed her 32-day
Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra in Guntur district, entered the Krishna
district this evening as thousands of people followed her raising Jai Jagan
slogans.

The 1223.5-meter long Prakasam barrage
unveiled a grand spectacle when she crossed into the Vijayawada town to a
rousing reception by the Vijayawada citizens.

The entire stretch of the barrage was filled with people,
mostly women, students and youngsters who had followed her from the other side
of the Krishna River.
