Vijayamma calls off 2-day Fees Deeksha

Hyderabad, July 19,
2013: YSR Congress Party honourary president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma called off her
2-day Fees Deeksha this evening by accepting a glass of lemon juice offered by
students.

Calling off her Deeksha, Smt. Vijayamma advised students who did not receive the
fee reimbursement to write to: feesreimbursement@ysrcongress.com.
She said the representations would  be
sent to the Government.

The Fees Deeksha
witnessed a huge gathering as thousands of students have poured in at the
Indira Park, the Deeksha camp where she commenced the fast Thursday morning.

Scores of YSRCP leaders,
who fasted along with her, also called off their Deeksha. She undertook the
Deeksha with the slogan ‘higher studies is the right of the poor’ and demanded
the Government to implement the scheme in its original form as implemented by
Dr. YSR.
