Vennapoosa Gopal Reddy Nominated As Candidate For MLC Elections

Hyderabad: In light of the MLC elections to happen in 2017, Vennapoosa Gopal Reddy was nominated as the candidate for Rayalaseema West (Ananthapuram, YSR Kadapa and Kurnool districts) Graduate constituency. As per the instructions from YSRCP president YS Jagan, the party's office gave out an official announcement. Vennapoosa Gopal Reddy from Prasannayapalli of Raptadu mandal in Ananthapuram district worked for the army between 1975 and 1978. He worked as junior inspector and as the president of the district's NGO for 17 years. Later, he held roles as president of state NGO of united Telugu states, JAC chairman and vice-president of All India Association for 9.5 years. is son Vennapoosa Ravindra Reddy is opposition leader at Zilla Parishad.
After his retirement on June 30, 2013, he was nominated as the candidate for MLC elections from graduate constituency. YS Jagan called for support for his candidature from all MLAs, MLCs, MPs, constituency coordinators, leaders and activists of YSRCP right from graduate voter registration to victory.
