Trump's Rule In AP

Vijayawada: YSRCP's city president, Vellampally Srinivas, remarked that Chandrababu's rule in AP was as tyrannical as that of Trump in the USA. Recollecting how much trouble TDP Government had caused to the leader of opposition, YS Jagan, as he tried to reach and console the victims of road accident in Krishna district, he slammed Chandrababu for not taking action against the travels company owned by TDP MP instead.

Vellampally also criticised the Government for filing false cases on their party chief, YS Jagan and arresting them as well for peacefully protesting it. He demanded that the Government should immediately withdraw the cases filed. Mentioning how common it was for opposition parties to protest in Jantar mantar of Delhi, Indira park of Hyderabad and Dharna Chowk in Vijayawada, Vellampally slammed the police for giving permission for the dharna at first and then going back on their word and mistreating them.

Vellampally revealed that leaders and activists of YSRCP had been tortured and threatened in the police station for 12 hours and questioned why the police had not denied permission earlier. He also asked what was wrong in asking the Government to pay more compensation to the victims and punish those responsible for the accident after running proper inquiry.

Mentioning ACP Sravani's alleging that they had misbehaved with some SI Prasad, Vellampally stated that it was a false allegation and they did not even know any such person. He slammed the IAS officer for behaving like Chandrababu's toy. Stating that the police had threatened them with cases to be booked under sections 151 and 353, he said that they were not scared of any false cases.

Vellampally criticised the vengeful behaviour of the Government and stated that TDP always had the habit of taking intermediate students to Chandrababu's meetings and women's conferences but now they had filed cases on them for conducting dharna near Dharna Chowk, citing disturbance to intermediate exams, despite the absence of colleges in that area.

He ultimately declared that they would keep fighting as soldiers of YS Jagan's army and stand supportive of people and fight against the tyrannical Givernment.
