YSR District: Leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS
Jagan expressed his concern towards imposing high electricity charges on tribal
people. He condemned hike in power charges. He demanded for immediate
cancellation of power bills belonging to tribal people. Residents of Kanumpalli
village of Vemula mandal in YSR district met YSRCP president YS Jagan on
Monday. They shared with him their miserable situation having to pay high power
bills. YS Jagan responded to this and questioned the Government how fair it was
to impose thousands of rupees of bills on them, over not providing electricity
to the tribal people for free.
