The policies adopted by the union government and Andhra Pradesh has left the traders in deep crisis , YSR Congress party senior leaders Vellampalli Srinivas and Malladi Vishnu said.
Participating in the first meeting of the party's trade wing conducted by its President K Prasad in Vijawayada, they said the demonitisation and the new tax regime GST which came into force this July aggravated the problems already facing by the trading community in the country as well as in Andhra.
The YSR Congress leaders took strong exception for maintaining silence by AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on the anti trader policies brought by the centre. They held Chandrababu also responsible for the present crisis in the commercial sector in the state.
The Chandranna Malls which came into operational in Andhra deepened crisis further, Srinivas and Vishnu said that the party will prepare an action plan to rescue the distressed traders and the same will be submitted to YSR Congress party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy soon.
