Pamarru, May 1,
2014: Firmly asserting that the present elections are going to shape their
destiny, YSR Congress Party president Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked people
to elect as CM a leader who will strive for their welfare and stay in their
hearts forever.
Addressing mammoth YSR
Jana Bheri public meetings at Pamarru and Vuyyuru of Krishna district Wednesday
evening, Jagan Mohan Reddy said the elections are a fight between credibility
and honesty on one side and conspiracy and cheating on the other.
“You should all unite
and become one to show the doors for the parties and leaders who took the
people for a ride all these years and who are making false promises and
hoodwinking the people,” he told the people.
YSR, who strived for
the welfare of the people during his regime, lived forever in the hearts of
people, Jagan Mohan Reddy said. “You should elect such a leader so that your
welfare is well taken care off,” he appealed to them.
Reiterating that he has
only inherited the political legacy of credibility from YSR, Jagan Mohan said
he can’t indulge in false promises like Chandrababu Naidu. “Naidu never implemented
his promises and is again coming to you for votes and seats assuring you heaven
on the earth. Ask him why he couldn’t implement all his promises during his
tenure of CM,” he exhorted them.
Stating that
Chandrababu has played with the lives of farmers during his nine-year term,
Jagan Mohan Reddy said he doesn’t know even the number of houses in the state. “The
entire state has only 20 lakh posts but Naidu is promising 3.5 Cr jobs for the
youth. How is it possible?” Jagan Mohan Reddy has questioned.
