TDP trying to evade PRC to staff: Chevireddy

Hyderabad, YSR Congress has said that TDP government is cutting a sorry figure only to evade the hiked pay and demanded that employees’ salaries should be paid on time and it found fault with the extravaganza of the Chief Minister.

“TDP leaders and officials, who gave a rosy picture of the economy during the pre-budget meeting, had suddenly starting telling that the ex-chequer cannot meet the salaries of the employees which is only a ploy to evade the Pay Revision Commission recommendations,” party MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy told reporters here  on While it was announced that there is a surplus of Rs 375 crores after the pre-budget meeting and stating that there was revenue of Rs 79,000 crores, it is not justified for
the State to say that it is facing difficulty in paying salaries. This is only to put on hold the pay revision, he said.

The salaries of the staff should not be stopped at any cost and the extravaganza of the Chief Minister should be scaled down. Chandrababu Naidu always travels by a special flight and refurbishment of his chamber and his office had cost crores of rupees.

While Chandrababu Naidu did not bring in a single new scheme, he has weeded out 10 lakh pensions and 23 lakh ration cards on one hand and has spent huge amounts on
publicity and foreign trips.

Chandrababu Naidu’s foreign jaunts indicate that he has stashed away huge amounts of cash off-shore with his associates reaping huge profits in real estate, he said.
