TDP rule is highly corrupt

Tuni: Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh assembly and YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was behind Tuni train fire mishap during the Kapu agitation. He said that the present rule was highly corrupt and the TDP leaders were not sparing sand, soil and even the lands of temples.

Addressing a sea of humanity which had thronged the venue of the public meeting, the people's leader, who was on his mass outreach programme, Praja Sankalpa Yatra, he said that Chandrababu tried to grab 425 acres of land belonging to Mutt. It was shameful that land belonging to temples were pledged in the bank for money.

YS Jagan named Divis as Chandrababu's proxy company and said that the TDP government was harassing farmers who did not spare their land for the company. False cases were foisted against the farmers. He said we welcome companies, but they should be established in certain places. Everyone would be happy to hear that a pharma company was being established in Visakhapatnam, but not in place where there was biggest hatcheries in Tuni constituency, he said.

The YSRCP Chief said moreover, this place has been identified as aqua zone by the Central government. "By establishing pharma companies in this region, the government is only polluting the water. This was in turn affecting the aqua industry and hampering its growth," he said.

The Leader of Opposition reminded everyone that it was at Tuni that the YSRCP announced its full support to Kapu reservations. The result of the party support was that 75 per cent of YSRCP workers were implicated in false cases. He said Chandrababu conspired and set the train on fire in Tuni during the agitation for Kapu reservation. None were spared--from SC, BC to physically handicapped everyone were booked in false cases by the TDP government. Everyone will be freed from train burning case as soon as YSRCP comes to power.

YS Jagan pointed out that the Tuni government hospital was in a state of neglect. As per records, 11 doctors should be working in the hospital while there were just four of them. He said that even 108 ambulance service was dysfunctional in Tuni. He recalled former Chief Minister Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy's rule and said that he had constructed 11,000 houses for the poor. During the time, the government had released Rs 26 crores for drinking water supply from Tandava.

The people's leader said that there was no yard in Tuni to dump twaste. He said waste was being dumped in graveyard. "Just imagine, only if Tuni constituency has so many problems, how many problems existed in the state." He asked people not to excuseChandrababu who has been misleading the state and betraying people. Finally, YS Jagan invited suggestions from people to develop Navaratnalu into a concrete manifesto of YSRCP.
