TDP Orders Arrest On False Grounds

  • Babu's conspiracies on YSRCP
  • Attempts to impose tuni case on the opposition party leaders
  • The police are behaving like TDP activists
  • Is this democracy or dictatorship?
  • YSRCP leaders Ambati and Chevireddy
Guntur: Chandrababu and his son Lokesh were trying to falsely prove YSRCP's involvement in Tuni arson, complained the party's official spokesman Ambati Rambabu and MLA Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy. Speaking to the media at Guntur, they slammed the Government for following vengeful attitude towards the opposition and specified how the father-son duo were moving chessmen in order to target YSRCP president YS Jagan and senior leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy and corner them in the matter of Tuni arson. They also slammed the police for behaving like TDP activists in supporting and aiding Chandrababu's conspiracies. They questioned how else certain newspapers were able to give complete details of the CID investigation which was otherwise supposed to happen in secret. They commented that this was raising eyebrows as to whether the investigation was going on as per the instructions of Chandrababu.
They remarked that the newspapers would have been questioned by now if it was not the police who were giving it the feed. They ridiculed that investigation a person with no involvement in the case for 2 days and 16 hours and again summoning him for inquiry was nothing but a blind game. Questioning if this was a democracy or a dictatorship, Ambati and Chevireddy confronted the Government if t could order for arrests just for questioning it. They cautioned that YSRCP would join people and revolt against the Government if it continued to perform unjust arrests.
