TDP means 'Telugu Dongala Party'

Speaking to media persons along with party Chairman Candidate Muktiyar and party councilors at Municipal office, he said that TDP leaders were indulging in unfair methods in ongoing municipal Chairman election process.  In a direct hit at TDP leader Varadarajula Reddy, the YSRCP leader said that the 72 year old leader is behaving like a stray dog. In 2014 elections, 18 councilors won on behalf of the YSRCP, he said.

The YSRCP MLA alleged that the TDP had purchased about 200 YSRCP local body members to win the local bodies MLC seat. Stating that TDP is turning into “Telugu Dongala Party”, Rachamallu said that party councilors will not move from the Municipal office till the returning officer conducts the Chairman election. He demanded police protection to them as there is threat to their lives from TDP goons.
