TDP-BJP alliance pushed AP's development 20 years backward

Guntur: YSR Congress Party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana alleged that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's one-day hunger strike was not for achieving Special Category Status (SCS) to AP but to officially celebrate his birthday. Speaking to media here today, Botsa said that both the central and state governments were only looking for their personal gains and not bothered about the state.
The YSRCP senior leader said that their party was relentlessly fighting for SCS to AP and as part of this exercise, YSRCP MPs had submitted notices for no-confidence motion in Lok Sabha. He said that their party MPs had resigned from their posts and selflessly sat on indefinite hunger strike in New Delhi. He was wondering why Chandrababu had taken up the hunger strike when he suggested everyone to protest in Japanese style.
Botsa observed that the TDP-BJP alliance had pushed the state's development 20 years backward. He said that the ruling TDP had sidelined the SCS issue by sheer political gimmicks. YSRCP would continue to strive for SCS until they achieve it, he asserted. He added that corruption was rampant at every level in the TDP rule.
