Sharmila to walk 14.2 km on 164th day

Marteru, May 30, 2013:
Smt. Y.S. Sharmila, who has been undertaking her Maro Praja Prasthanam
Padayatra on behalf YSRCP chief Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, resumed her
Padayatra from Jagannadhapuram in Achanta constituency of WG District on the
164th day on Thursday.
During the course of
the day’s Padayatra, she interacted with locals at a Rachchabanda programme at
Marteru where the villagers recounted their problems. Smt. Sharmila instilled
confidence among them saying that their problems would be solved when the YSRCP
formed the Government under the leadership of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Earlier, she has
garlanded the YSR statue in the village and paid tributes to the late CM.
Former Sarpanch of the village Karri Subhashini joined the YSRCP on the
occasion.
Alamuru, Kattavapadu
and Kottapadu are also listed on the day’s schedule of her Padayatra spread
over a distance of 14.2 km.
She has so far
completed walking a distance of 2153.8 km as on 163rd day on
Wednesday.
