Sharmila to resume walking from Turkayamjal

Hyderabad, Feb 5, 2013:
Smt. Y.S. Sharmila will resume Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra from Wednesday,
Feb 6.
Smt. Sharmila, who
began the Padayatra on Oct 18, 2012 from Idupulapaya in YSR district on behalf
of YSR Congress party president Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, suspended it on
Dec 15 at Turkayamjal in Ranga Reddy district following a knee injury sustained
the day before at a public meeting in B. N. Reddy Nagar.
She underwent a keyhole
surgery for the ligament injury on Dec 18, 2012 and recently doctors certified
she was fit to resume the Padayatra.
Smt. Sharmila will resume
Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra at 9.30 am on Wednesday from SSR Gardens near Turkayamjal
in Hayat Nagar Mandalam where the Yatra was suspended, according to Padayatra
coordinators K.K.Mahender Reddy and Talasila Raghu Ram.
The Yatra, covering a
distance of 15.5 km, will pass through the villages of Ragannaguda, Manneguda
Cross Roads, Bongluru, Mangalpally, Seriguda and will reach Ibrahimpatnam where
she will address a public meeting at the end of the day.
