Sharmila’s Yatra in Telangana from Dec 8

Hyderabad, Nov 30: YS Jagan Mohan
Reddy’s sister Sharmila will begin the Paramarsa Yatra in Telangana region from
Mahbubnagar district on December 8 to complete the unfinished Odarpu
Yatra.

Speaking to media during the release of
the Paramarsa Yatra poster here on Sunday, the Party Working President for
Telangana State, P Srinivasa Reddy said: “Sharmila will begin the Yatra
onDecember 8 from Kalwakurthy assembly segment and will cover 10 constituencies
as 18 persons have died in the district on hearing the news of YSR’s demise.
The Yatra will be rounded off in the district at Jadcherla.”

Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had
already completed the Odarpu Yatra in Khammam district and could not take it
forward in the remaining nine districts due to various reasons. Now Sharmila
will complete the mission and cover the remaining nine districts of Telangana,
he said.

The Yatra will also include consoling
the families of those farmers who committed suicide. There were 157 suicides of
families due to the faulty priorities of the Government. YSR has a good
following in the region as all sections of people have benefitted out o his
welfare schemes, he said.

TRS Government has failed in fulfilling
the poll promises a fact which was acknowledged by the Chief Minister K
Chandrasekhar Rao himself.

Brushing aside the contention that the
Yatra has political moorings, he said, “there are no elections in near future
and no political motives can be attributed to the Yatra. It is only to keep up
the promise of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that he will console all the families that
have lost a person on hearing the news of YSR death.”
