Sharmila completes 100 days of padayatra

Congress party leader and daughter of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, Sharmila
completed 100 days of ‘Maro Prasthanam’ padayatra at Mangalagiri on Sunday by
unfurling the party flag and garlanding the statue of her father. 

She thanked the people
and leaders who have been with her during the 100 days of
padayatra. Hailing the rule of Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s in the State, she
said that now people were starving in the state and more and more farmers were
committing suicide. She ridiculed the Congress government for not even
providing drinking water to the thirsty people.

Sharmila said that
Arogyasri launched by her father had become sick and fee reimbursement scheme
was abandoned by the Government. Describing chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy
and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu as ‘idiots’ (murkhulu), she said both were not
caring to solve the problems of people. 

Exuding confidence that her brother would come out of the jail soon, she said
that the six months period to complete the investigation would be over by March
31.
