Service activity marks Jagan’s birth day

2012: YSR Congress honourary President Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma met party president
Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy in Chanchalguda jail Friday morning and greeted him
on his 40th birth day even as the party leaders undertook several
service programmes on the occasion.
Smt. Vijayamma was
accompanied by Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy’s wife Smt. Y. S. Bharati Reddy and other
family members.
There was a flurry of
activity outside the jail premises as hundreds of party activists, led by party
minority cell convener Rehman, arrived at the place early in the morning to
greet the party president. They celebrated the event outside the gate by
cutting and distributing the cake to the onlookers and pedestrians as they were
not allowed inside.

activities across the state
YSR Congress party
leaders and activists celebrated the birthday of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy across
the state by undertaking several service programmes.
At the party central
office in Hyderabad, senior leader Dr. M.V. Mysura Reddy inaugurated a blood
donation camp where several party leaders including the party’s trade union
wing convener Janak Prasad donated blood. Later, books were distributed to the
school children.
In Guntur, Vijayawada, Kadapa, Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Nizamabad, Khammam, Chittor, Kurnool, Nalgonda, Rajahmandry, Anantapuam and other towns, party rank and
file visited hospitals and distributed fruits to the patients besides
organizing blood donation camps. All-religious prayers and Pujas at temples by
the party activists also marked the occasion seeking Almighty’s blessings for
quick release of Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy from jail.
