Anantapur: The Praja Sankalpa Yatra of YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is eliciting tremendous response in Anantapur district. After wrapping up his tour of YSR district and Kurnool district, YS Jagan has entered Anantapur on December 4.

People from all walks of life such as model school teachers, contract workers, students, teachers and workers are flocking to him in a big way to narrate their tales of woes. Organisations like tribal bodies, Rayalaseema Vimochana Samithi and others also met him.

On Day 1, YS Jagan toured Guntakal assembly constituency. The people mainly complained that water scarcity is their biggest problem. YS Jagan heard them patiently and assured to look into their problems.

On Tuesday morning, he took a cup of tea and munched a couple of biscuits offered by the people at Gooty. The people were overjoyed at meeting YS Jagan. Two women brought their new borns and wanted YS Jagan to name them. He named them YS Vijayamma.

At Avulampalli Cross, YS Jagan met the locals and heard them recount their problems. Later, he met onion farmers, who told him that the input costs have gone up and the prices of the produce have gone down. They also complained that they did not have water supply, due to which village tanks are drying up. They wanted him to ensure that a price stabilization fund is created to help the farmers.
