SCS Heat In Winter Sessions

  • YS Jagan's fight for SCS
  • YSRCP MPs get ready to fight in the parliament
  • Thousands of industries will come with SCS
  • YSRCP's struggle with SCS as the ultimate aim
Hyderabad: Special category status is the only way for the all-round development of AP. The leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, has been fighting for this for a long time. A number of dharnas, rastha rokos, bandhs and indefinite hunger strikes have been held for the cause, along with programmes like Yuvabheri and Jai Andhra Pradesh meetings that were conducted to raise awareness among the public regarding the importance of SCS.

With no response from the union and the state Governments, YSRCP has consolidated its struggle. YS Jagan has made a plan to discuss the matter in the parliament. In the winter session of the house to begin on the 16th of this month, the party is going to strongly insist for the sanction of SCS to AP, as decided by YSR Congress Parliamentary Party. In the meeting presided by YS Jagan with all YSRCP MPs on the 12th of this month at the party's central office, the strategy to be followed in the winter session was discussed and decided.

Uncompromising fight
SCS is like an elixir to the state that has otherwise seen loss due to bifurcation. YSRCP has decided to take the struggle for SCS to any required level. With SCS, industries will get concessions. A huge number of industrialists will come forward to invest in the state. Thousands of industries will be set up. Lakhs of unemployed people will find jobs. The discounts will apply as long as the state enjoys the status. Hence, YS Jagan has been committed to achieving the status.

YSRCP MPs ready to resign
MPs of YSRCP have come to a strong decision as part of their fight for SCS. They are ready to resign upon instruction from YSRCP president, YS Jagan. They declared that they would fight very strongly for the cause during the winter session of the parliament. They are getting ready to not only appeal to make amendments to the private bill previously introduced in the parliament in demand for SCS, but also introduce a new private bill. The MPs shall confront the Government about bifurcation promises and also SCS, on behalf of the people of the state.
