Kadapa: YSR Congress Party leaders today criticised that Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu and his son as well as minister Lokesh have made corruption as a norm. The YSRCP leaders include, Kamalapuram MLA Ravindranath Reddy. Raghurami Reddy and party Kadapa Parliamentary constituency leader Suresh Babu, spoke to the media here and informed that corruption has been made part of every activity.
The YSRCP leaders alleged that Rs 240 crores worth land was cheaply sold to AP CM's relatives and benami under the government order (GO) number 523 and 547. They expressed their surprise over the sudden change in the attitudes of three friendly parties - BJP, TDP and Jana Sena. It was unfair to blame the centre for not allocating funds to AP, especially after few lakh crores of money have been misused, they mentioned.
The leaders recalled that it was their party Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who was the brand ambassador of Special Category Status (SCS) to AP and added that he was the only leader who was relentlessly fighting for achieving SCS. They also mentioned that Opposition Leader had told that YSRCP would support any party which would award SCS to AP.
The YSRCP leaders said that Chandrababu has to answer the questions raised by the centre over the fund allocated and its utilization. From the day he became the CM, his only goal has been to make money through corruption, they alleged.
