Nandyal: YSR Congress Party leader and MLA RK Roja appealed voters from Nandyal Assembly constituency to give a befitting lesson to Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu by defeating the TDP in the by-elections.
In the farmer Chief Minister Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy's regime, three minister posts were given to minorities and under YS Jagan leadership, four minority MLAs won from the YSR Congress. In Chandrababu rule, not a single minority leader was inducted in his cabinet.
She said Chandrababu betrayed the entire Muslim community in Andhra. Only to lure the voters, TDP minority leader NMD Farooq has been given MLC post. Roja also took broadside at TDP leaders for targeting the party candidate in the election Silpa Mohan Reddy. She dared 21 defected MLAs from YSR Congress to quit the posts and seek fresh mandate.
