Rich tributes paid to Jyotirao Phule

Nellore: The birth anniversary of social reformer Mahatma Jyotirao Phule was celebrated grandly in Nellore on Tuesday. YSRCP's Nellore district president and Sarvepalli MLA Kakani Govardhan Reddy garlanded the portrait of Jyotirao Phule and recalled his services to the downtrodden at the party office.  

Later, Kakani along with Nellore Rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy took out a rally from the party office and  garlanded the statue of the social reformer and paid tributes. 

Speaking on the occasion, the YSRCP leaders said that Jyotirao Phule had fought for the eradication of social evils.  He took steps to improve the education system in the country. 
Many YSRCP leaders and a large number of the party activists were also present.
