Retired IPS officer joins YSRCP

Retired IPS officer Mahamad Ikbal has joined the YSR Congress Party on Wednesday. He joined the YSRCP in the presence of party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at Jogannapalem.
The YSRCP chief welcomed him by offering party's shawl.
Ikbal, who belongs to Kurnool district, has served in many key posts. PAC chairman and YSRCP MLA Buggana Rajendranath Reddy brought him to the YSRCP chief.
YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra started off from Denduluru in West Godavari district this morning. The YSRCP president's padayatra entered day 163 today.
