Reject TDP, says Jagan

Nandyal, Aug 13: YSR Congress President
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has appealed to the voters to reject TDP outright as
Chandrababu Naidu has been continuing his anti-people policies and has been
blatantly using money and muscle power to lure the people.

Addressing a road show in the
constituency here on Sunday he said, ‘Chandrababu Naidu and his men
will be coming to you in the next few days with lots of money and fake
promises, do not be carried away but use your discretion and cast your vote in
favour of our Party candidate who will be with you and in the coming years, the
Navaratnas I have promised would become a reality benefitting all sections of
the people.

Chandrababu Naidu has amassed wealth
through nefarious means and will be on the prowl along with his people to lure
you but use discretion and judge the candidate by virtue of principles of the
Party. He and his coterie have been showing the photo of God and asking the
voters to take an oath to vote for his Party and he is resorting to unethical
practice which you should resist and reject, he said.

 It is a war between justice and
prejudice and I appeal to the people to use their wisdom and reject the ruling
Party decisively to teach a fitting lesson to Chandrababu Naidu and his
leadership.

 Reiterating that his only asset is the
faith that people have reposed in him, the Leader of Opposition said TDP has
been distorting news and sending wrong signals. Our Party follows the path
shown by YSR in creating a welfare state and we will work for it, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu has promised houses to
poor before elections but not a single house was constructed, he has promised
moon to everyone but not one section of the society has been benefitted during
his three year tenure so far. Digging roads is not development, it is a
continuous process which should come from day one and knee-jerk reactions after
the by-poll is announced would yield no results, he said.

 He failed to give one job per house and
did not give the Rs 2,000 stipend to the youth and has miserably failed in
waiver of loans of farmers and DWACRA groups. The women groups are now
defaulters and have no stake in the banks. They had a good credit rating
earlier which was tarnished by Chandrababu Naidu’s false promise of loan
waiver.

 Before the by poll Chandrababu Naidu and
his son Lokesh had never come to Nandyal and did not bother about the
constituency. With the announcement of by-poll it has become the focal point
and there is heavy concentration with the sole intention to cheat the people
again, he said and appealed to the people to vote for YSR Congress for a better
future.
