Tirupati: YSRCP's senior leader Bhumana Karunakar Reddy criticised that Chandrababu had been using the police force of AP for his personal benefits rather than for security. Holding bandh at Tirupati, he held a huge rally. The police arrested him and took him to the police station. The leaders and the activists staged an agitation in front of the police station over Bhumana's arrest.
Speaking to the media later, he commented that demonic rule was going on in the state. Stating that people's movement could not be stopped with unjust arrests, Bhumana remarked that special category status was the ray of hope for the people of AP that Chandrababu had put off.
