Rahul Gandhi read TDP script: Vijay Sai Reddy

Visakhapatnam:The YSRCP party state general secretary and MP V Vijay Sai Reddy ridiculed AICC vice president Rahul Gandhi for his ignorance on what is happening in the state and who is in the fore front of special status struggle going on for the last three years.
Addressing party plenary in Visakhapatnam,
  Vijay Sai Reddy said that in the last years YSRCP, led by party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had conducted 36 different forms of agitation programs that including fast unto death.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had repeatedly told that the fight would continue till the centre accords special status and also made it clear that the party would extent support to the party that accords status, he added.
He also said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had mentioned special status and railway zone demands in the representation presented to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi when he met the later recently. He said that it could have been better if Rahul Gandhi had gone through the memorandum or APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy could have enlightened him.
Vijaya Sai Reddy took objection to Rahul Gandhi’s allegations against YSRCP that the later is not showing enough interest in special status issue and reminded him that the issue is still alive only because of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s relentless, continued struggle. He alleged that Congress joined hands with the BJP, TDP combine in scuttling the YSRCP’s demand, fearing political backlash.  
He said that Rahul Gandhi has read the speech prepared by TDP. In a scathing attack on TDP, the YSRCP senior leader charged that Chandrababu Naidu had facilitated the Congress game plan to bifurcate the state in the first place by offering a letter in favour of separate Telangana state. Now, he is shedding crocodile tears, Vijay Sai Reddy said.
