Protests At District Collectorates Today

Hyderabad: Protests are going to be held near the collectorates of all districts by YSRCP demanding for sanction of special status for Andhra Pradesh. The leader of opposition and YSRCP president YS Jagan is going to participate in the protest to take place at Kakinada of East Godavari.
Opposition YSRCP has always been arguing that special status is like 'Sanjeevani', the wonder drug for the state of AP that has suffered due to bifurcation. It has been performing struggle since along time with the aim of attaining special status. A dharna has been staged in Delhi. YS Jagan also has taken up an indefinite hunger strike at Guntur.
With the name of Yuvabheri, awareness meetings have been held for the youth and the students. Now YSRCP has called for protests near all the collectorates. Senior leaders and party cadre are going to attend the agitation to be led by YS Jagan at Kakinada. General secretary Vijaya Sai Reddy, Botsa Satyanarayana and other senior leaders have already supervised the arrangements for the event.
