Protests Against Ban Of Sakshi's Telecast

Hyderabad: It is strongly opined that the telecast of Sakshi TV channel had been blocked for exposing the faults of Chandrababu's Government and Mudragada's deeksha was being used as an excuse. Agitations are happening throughout the state against the atrocities of the Government. Public organisations and journalists are staging dharnas and rallies in various districts against its tyrannical behaviour. Leaders and activists of YSRCP have taken part in these protests.
BJP, left parties and public organisations expressed displeasure towards blocking the channel's telecast in Chittoor district. A dharna has been staged at Gandhi circle, demanding resume of the telecast. Members of Srikalahasthi Bar Association held a special meeting about the Government's behaviour. The association's president Kumar condemned the unjustcontrol on the media and demanded resume of telecast.
Protests were conducted against blockage of telecast of Sakshi TV in Kurnool district. APUWJ, a journalists organisation'held rastha roko. A semi-nude protest was held demanding resume of the telecast. Public orgabnisations and students'associations held a rally at Banaganapalli of the district. Agitation was held by public organisations and journalists against the vengeful activities of the Government at Nandikotkuru.
Journalists in Pulivendula of YSR District wore black badges and held a rally against the Government's unjust control on Sakshi's telecast. Leaders of YSR Congress Party and Congress Party extended their support to the journalists' protest.Journalists in all places commented that the Government had vengefully blocked the telecast of the channel, as it had exposed the Government's failure.
