  • Complaints against the assembly's in-charge secretary
  • MLA RK rights to the Governor

Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA of Mangalagiri constituency, Alla Ramakrishna Reddy mentioned that a secretary of the Legislative Assembly should be a qualified lawyer but Satyanarayana had been appointed and allowed to continue as the secretary of AP assembly. He complained that the petition he had filed in this regard under right to information act, had ever been responded to. Hence, he wrote to the Governor of the state, exposing the issue. He mentioned in his letter that Satyanarayana was continuing as the secretary of the house, in spite of facing allegations for corruption, participating in unlawful activities and not being qualified enough.

Alla Ramakrishna Reddy questioned on this occasion on what grounds he had been appointed in such a crucial post without being qualified, in the first place. He demanded for action against Satyanarayana in this issue.

This is Satyanarayana's biography

RK stated in his letter that Satayanarayana had been involved in unlawful activities. A criminal case had been filed in 2012 against him in Banjara Hills police station for being involved in fake registration of lands belonging to Sri Venkateswara Cooperative House Building Society. He had been named as A2 accused in the case and had been to the High Court to get out of the case. The police had prepared a charge sheet regarding the case and while the case was still under inquiry, he managed to be appointed in such a high Government post, remarked RK.
