Kurnool: Police have shown high handedness on YSR Congress Party leaders who took part in Palle Nidra and Rachabanda programmes in Kurnool district.
Police did not allow YSR Congress Youth leader Shilpa Ravichandra Kishore Reddy to organise Palle Nidra at Kothapalli village in Nandyal mandal. Reddy was taken into preventive custody and sent him and his followers out of the village.
Ravi said ruling TDP was not digesting the growing popularity to YSR Congress. He never encouraged faction politics as claimed by police. Fearing the YSR Congress was exposing Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's failures, police obstructed them from organising agitations.
