Bharati questions CBI
Speaking on the
occasion, Smt. Y. S.Bharati came down heavily on the CBI saying that the
probing agency had filed three charge sheets against her husband without even
questioning him. “How can a charge sheet be filed without questioning him and
how can he be made the first accused?” she asked.
She said the CBI
couldn’t make out anything against Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy after 22 months of
investigation. “He has been kept in the jail though section 167 of the Cr PC
says one should be released after 90 days of his arrest. Don’t I have the right
to live with my husband? Don’t my children have the right to stay with their
father?” she asked.
Earlier, opening the
rally, Smt. Vijayamma condemned the attitude of the CBI in objecting bail to
the party chief even after one year of his arrest.
