Hyderabad: YSRCP's farmers' wing president MVS Nagireddy demanded the Government to withdraw the decision of cancellation of passbooks and title deed books. He stated that the use of technology was always invited and acceptable but reminded that the farmers had not developed to that extent yet. Speaking to the media at the party's central office in Hyderabad, he mentioned that all the previous Governments had worked on renewing the pass books but had never cancelled them in the last 25-30 years. He questioned the decision taken in the dark and issue of GO regarding the cancellation of passbooks when no farmers' associations had asked for it.
