Partiality In Paying Compensation For Crops

Krishna: Farmers of Krishna district complained to the leader of opposition in AP and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, that officials had been showing partiality in paying compensation for damaged crops.
On Thursday morning, farmers of Bapulapadu and Gannavaram mandals met YS Jagan at Gannavaram airport, as he reached the place to visit the farmers of the capital region of AP. They expressed agony about their black gram fields being infested by pests and officials showing favouritism while offering compensation to the damaged crops.
They also revealed to him that they had been suffering due to unavailability of irrigation water for lands under Eluru canal. The Jananeta promised to take their problems to the notice of the Government and bring pressure in the direction of their solution.
