Only YSRCP Can Assure RTC Workers' Welfare

YSR Kadapa: RTC workers' welfare was possible only by YSRCP, mentioned district president Akepati Amarnath Reddy. About 100 members of NMU employees union joined YSRCP RTC Mazdoor Union on Monday. They received warm welcome from Akepati Amarnath Reddy. Speaking on this occasion, Akepati reminded that Chandrababu had planned to privatize RTC even during his previous tenure as the CM of the state. He reminded how the opposition leader of that time, Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy had resisted that idea in the assembly.

Akepati also recollected how YSR, after becoming the CM, had worked for bringing RTC out of debts by sanctioning thousands of crores of rupees as funds. He mentioned that the workers had never had any problems under YSR's tenure and added that the organisation had dipped into troubles post his death. He opined that RTC could gain its golden era again in the present times if YS Jagan became the CM. He expressed happiness to see 100 members join YSR RTC Mazdoor union on  the same day.

Akepati released a handout with the names of the workers who had joined the Mazoor union from various unions. YSR RTC mazdoor union president of Rajampeta RTC depot G.Chandra and secretary NS Reddy spoke to complain that the NMU employees union leaders did nothing for the welfare of the workers excet fight among themselves. They owed for consolidation of the Mazdoor union.
