Novel Style Of Protest For Railway Zone

Visakhapatnam: The protest held by YSRCP Visakhapatnam district president Gudiwada Amarnath for special railway zone of Visakhapatnam has reached the third day. The Government had been turning a deaf ear to the pleas and demands raised for obtaining the special railway zone, in spite of it being mentioned in the bifurcation law. Local people grew frustrated towards Chandrababu's Government for not dutifully bringing pressure on the central Government in this direction. Gudiwada Amarnath bathed on the road in order to show his protest against the Government.

Various people's organisations and labour organisations of North Andhra region expressed their support to this movement. Left parties and Lok Satta, the principal political parties other than BJP and TDP, had already assured the movement their support.
