No protection Even At The Court

Vijayawada: YSRCP MLA, RK Roja, exclaimed that there was no protection for her even at the court where she had approached, appealing for protection. Questioning if she had to obtain a visa from the CM to go anywhere in the state, she spoke to the media from Gannavaram court on the occasion of hearing of the private case she had filed against the DGP and some police officers for depriving her of her rights.

Reminding how the TDP activists had behaved in a similar way to hinder the leader of opposition, YS Jagan, from meeting accident victims and their families at Nandima Government Hospital recently, she suggested that Chandrababu should stop ordering such chaotic behaviour and concentrate on keeping his campaign promises made to people.

TDP leaders and activists rallied with party flags at the court raising slogans against her at the court.
Lawyers condemned this behaviour and suggested that the ruling party should respect the court and called it unfortunate for an MLA not finding protection even at the court where she had approached appealing for protection.
The police later intervened and sent them away. The case was adjourned to the 24th of this month.
