Damaracherla (Nalgonda
Dt.) Feb 19, 2013: Breathing fire on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu continuing his
tacit support to the anti-people policies of the Kiran Kumar Reddy-led Congress
Government, Smt. Y. S. Sharmila asked him to sell out himself wholesale to the
Congress like the actor-turned politician Chiranjeevi.

Instead of supporting
the Congress government and its anti-people policies covertly, it is better for
Naidu to follow the footsteps of the erstwhile PRP leader Chiranjeevi who
merged his party with Congress, she said, adding that Naidu should sell out
himself wholesale to the Congress leadership.

Smt. Sharmila’s
comments at a well attended Rachchabanda programme at Damaracherla in Nalgonda
district on Tuesday were in response to a flood of complaints by locals, with
most of them women and the aged, on a plethora of issues plaguing them.

Interacting with people
on the 71st day of Maro Praja Prasthanam Padayatra, she said the
Congress rule in the state has been reminiscent of the dreaded anti-farmer
Chandrababu Naidu regime.

“The present Congress
rule is part 2 of Chandrababu regime which saw the suicides of 4000 farmers as
he neglected agriculture and irrigation projects,” she remarked. “Similar to
Chandrababu rule, CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has also abdicated the welfare of
farmers.”

Smt. Sharmila said that Congress and TDP have
conspired together against YSR Congress chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and
jailed him as the two parties are terrified of his growing political
popularity.

Despite having enough strength to dislodge the Kiran
Government, Naidu has been supporting it for selfish reasons, she added.
